Uncle Matt’s Hot Toddy
A simple sipper sure to bring you warmth on a cool winter evening. The hot toddy is a seasonal classic made better when enjoyed using Uncle Matt’s tart and crisp No Sugar Added Lemonade. Make this drink your own by switching out the spirits and garnishes for more subtle or spicier flavor profiles.
Ingredients:
- 1 mug full of water
- 2 oz whiskey
- 2 oz Uncle Matt’s No Sugar Added Lemonade
- 2 tsp organic honey
- 1 lemon wheel sliced from an organic lemon
- 1 cinnamon stick, star anise or cloves for optional garnish
Directions:
Boil enough water to fill a mug in a pot on the stove. Pour the warmed water into a mug. Add whiskey, honey and lemonade into the hot water and stir until the honey dissolves. Garnish with a lemon wheel and optional cinnamon stick. Test to make sure the water isn’t too warm, and sip.
