Grapefruit, Ginger & Sage Fizz
Ready to elevate your mimosa game this grapefruit season? Look no further! These fizzy flutes are perfect for those who prefer a tangy, herbal essence in their libations. Our tart bubblies will add a refreshing twist to your next mimosa flight.
Ingredients:
- 1 Bottle of Prosecco or Champagne
- 1 ½ cups Uncle Matt’s Organic Grapefruit Juice
- 6 Torn Sage Leaves
- 2 Tbsp. of Ginger Simple Syrup (1/4 Cup of Candied Ginger and 1/2 Cup of Water, bring to a boil, remove from heat and let steep for 10-20 minutes. Remove ginger pieces.)
Directions:
- Muddle sage, grapefruit juice, and ginger simple syrup in a cocktail shaker and don’t be shy with the sage, you want to really bruise it here to release the natural oils.
- Strain the sage infused juice into champagne glasses and top off with prosecco.
- Garnish with sage leaves, grapefruit pieces, and chopped candied ginger.
