Uncle Matt’s Orange Syrup
Are you team waffle or team pancake? Either way, we’re team orange syrup! Made with our Organic Orange Juice with Pulp, it’s a quick recipe that will elevate your breakfast!
- 1 cup organic cane sugar (or organic stevia)
- 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup Uncle Matt’s Organic orange juice with (or without) pulp
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Whisk together the sugar and water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. In a small bowl, whisk together orange juice and cornstarch then whisk into sugar/water. Simmer gently until thickened, 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then stir in butter until it melts. Best served warm.
