Sweet Citrus Swordfish

Looking for a special occasion dinner or trying to spice up your weekly routine of family meals with something a little different? This sweet citrus swordfish marinade is your answer! Pro Tip: Prepare the marinade the night before to allow the swordfish longer to absorb the flavors – your taste buds will thank you later!
Ingredients:
¼ cup organic soy sauce
¼ cup Uncle Matt’s Organic Pulp Free Orange Juice
¼ cup organic avocado oil
1/3 cup organic brown sugar
½ tsp organic powdered ginger
3 pounds of swordfish
Directions:
Prepare the marinade by mixing the soy sauce, orange juice, avocado oil, brown sugar and powdered ginger in a bowl.
Next spread your swordfish steaks out evenly in the bottom of an oven-safe dish. Pour the marinade over your swordfish and place a lid or covering over your dish. Allow the swordfish to marinate for up to three hours at room temperature on the counter or up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees when you’re ready to cook your marinated swordfish. Remove the lid or covering from your oven-safe dish, and bake for 7-10 minutes. The swordfish is ready when the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees.
Prefer grilling? Heat your grill to 400 degrees and grill on each side 4-5 minutes or until swordfish is opaque.
We recommend pairing your sweet, citrus swordfish with roasted potatoes and a side salad of your choice.
