Lemon Creme Brulee

Bright, zesty, and topped with that perfect caramelized crunch—this Lemon Crème Brûlée is a citrusy twist on a classic favorite. Made with Uncle Matt’s Organic Lemonade, this creamy custard is bursting with fresh flavor!
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups organic heavy cream
¼ cup organic granulated sugar
1 ½ tablespoons finely grated organic lemon zest
4 large organic egg yolks
2 tablespoons Uncle Matt’s Organic Lemonade
½ teaspoon organic vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
For the topping:
Organic granulated sugar
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 300°F. Boil some water for a water bath. In a bowl, rub sugar and lemon zest together until fragrant.
Whisk in egg yolks, Uncle Matt’s Organic Lemonade, vanilla, and salt. In a saucepan, heat cream until just simmering, then remove from heat. Slowly whisk hot cream into the egg mixture. Strain into a pourable container.
Divide mixture into four 6-oz ramekins placed in a deep baking dish. Pour hot water into the dish, halfway up the sides of the ramekins. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the custard is set but still a little jiggly. Remove ramekins and let cool 20 minutes. Chill in refrigerator at least 4 hours. Before serving, sprinkle 2 tsp sugar on each. Use a kitchen torch to caramelize.
Let the tops cool and harden, then enjoy!
