USDA Certified Organic, Glyphosate Residue Free & Clean Ingredients
We’re stand behind our USDA certified organic seal in our commitment to uncompromised nutrition. This starts with organic farming in harmony with nature. We believe the cultivation of healthy soil and crop rotation keep farmland healthy, while chemical abstinence preserves the ecosystem.
We’re proud to grow citrus from soil that is certified glyphosate residue free. We’re the first juice company in the world to be certified Glyphosate Residue Free by the Detox Project. One of the qualifications to being certified organic is that soil must not be treated with any prohibitive substances, like glyphosate (the active ingredient in RoundUp), for at least three years. The Detox Project takes this a step further by testing for any residual glyphosate that might be present in the soil from before the three-year mark.
We’re a truly clean-label brand as we use organic, better-for-you ingredients throughout our beverages. We’re committed to ingredient transparency. Our ingredients were thoughtfully selected and follow the health and sustainable standards in which we hold our own citrus.
Sustainable Packaging & Shipping
We encourage recycling of our empty BPA free juice bottles. Our bottles are PET #1, not 3, 6, or 7. PET #1 is the most recyclable form of plastic and the safest for food and juices. It also does not contain the harmful and dangerous chemical called Bisphenol A (BPA), like some other plastics. We also partner with recyclable packaging partners like Tetra Pak® for our kids No Sugar Added Lemonade Juice Boxes.
Moreover, Route has partnered with Patch, a carbon credit marketplace, to facilitate the purchase of carbon credits to neutralize your emissions. Carbon credits represent a certified unit of carbon removal or avoidance delivered by environmental projects that we can purchase to naturally remove carbon from the air. These are high integrity carbon removal projects that are vetted and certified by organizations like Gold Standard, Verra, Climate Action Reserve and The American Carbon Registry.
Charitable Donations
We stand for more than juice! We’re dedicated to doing our part to grow a healthier generation through charitable donations. Every quarter our employees select an organization making a difference, and we feature the foundation on our orange juice labels.
