CLERMONT, Fla. -- Sept. 22, 2005 -- Citrus season is about to begin!

This season, Uncle Matt's Organic, Inc. has been fortunate to avoid any major natural disasters. This time last year, Florida was deep in recovery efforts from three direct hits from hurricanes, which affected the citrus industry. Now that a new season is almost here, Uncle Matt's reports an excellent crop with high-quality fruit; more than adequate rainfall has helped the crop become healthy and vibrant.

This season, Uncle Matt's promises a greater variety of tangerines and a good supply of oranges. The grapefruit market will again be tight since the trees did not recover as well from the hurricanes that devastated Florida last year.
